My name is Christine Vallen, and I am a twenty-three year old student. When I'm not in my classes, I'm usually reading or writing. As a reader, I'm a little all over the place. I enjoy horror, romance, YA, fantasy, and historical fiction.

As a writer, I stick more to YA. Growing up, I wished there were more books for my age group other than, "I Like Him, He Likes Her" (which is a real book) type of books. I want realistic books about real people my age going through the things teenagers actually go through, not teenagers with extreme cases of luck and cliches of all kinds making their life easy. I want to write these books, so kids that will be like me can enjoy books.
