《望月秋櫻》是Panene的《夏日短篇連載挑戰》，這部作品和我的大作《戰場上的天籟聲》都是發生在同一個世界觀的故事。
少年和少女在某年夏天邂逅結識，對少年來說，他對少女的印象總是充滿謊言和神秘。少女向少年道別後，消失得無影無蹤，少年卻對少女念念不忘。後來，地球兩大強權發動太陽系戰爭，少年因此被徵召參軍，數十年後，成為空軍中隊隊長，在執行任務中，似乎遇到那個令他刻骨銘心的人，但她卻變了模樣……
