She looked at him—this child who had survived unmaking, who had seen her break machines, fields, protocols—and something inside her shifted.
Not resolve. Not equilibrium. Not creation. Not identity.
Something deeper.
Something cosmic.
Something inevitable.

It ignited inside her chest— violet, radiant, infinite.

The valley brightened.
The sky steadied.
The Horizon collapsed inward—
and vanished.
Silence.
The boy stared at her, awestruck. “You didn’t stop it.”
She exhaled shakily. “No.”
She looked at her sphere—violet, white, black, silver, gold swirling in perfect harmony.
“I transcended it.”
Far below, in the heart of the Veylor Institute, alarms screamed.
Not containment. Not pursuit. Not elimination. Not Omega. Not Nullstar. Not Horizon.
Something worse.
Balancekeeper has achieved Continuum. All directives failed. Initiate Absolute Protocol: Singularity.
She didn’t know what Singularity was.
But she knew one thing:
Event Horizon was meant to erase her existence.
Singularity was meant to erase her possibility.
And now Veylor knew she could transcend reality itself.
Which meant they were about to try something that could end more than her.
