I slid through my home girl window. Gypsy.. Gypsy was the finest bitch in the hood her moms was a base head so she had the house to herself a lot of the times she let me come through at night. She was four years younger than me. She turned 18 four weeks ago but we been friends for a while. When we met we were both minors just trying to help each other go through life in the hood.
“Lucifer I told you we can do this shit no more. My man doesn’t like this.” She said but I ignore her the only time I got sleep was when I was near her.

”I’m pregnant.” She said and I looked at her and started laughing. You let that lame knock you up?” I snapped. I couldn’t help it that shit hurt my chest for real.
”Oh so you the only one who is allowed to have kids? You got a whole family with that bitch you like so much.” She snapped.
”You know it wasn’t even like that ma.” I said.
”so when she told you to cut me off it was cool but when I tell you we can’t do this no more it’s a problem?” She asked. I walked right in her personal space.
“That was different she was my bitch then. You know how I’m coming about you baby.” I said running my hands up her back.
Gypsy was the one for me. I knew that shit years ago. I fell in love with Gypsy the first day I laid eyes on her. She was walking down to the store with her mom’s food stamp card only to find out it was nothing on there. I paid for her food and the first day she was nice and sweet then her moms had somebody slipping in her bed so she could get her fix and I put an end to that. I made sure her mom stayed out the house and was load with the best work her hands could get on. I felt guilty but shit long as my baby was good I was fine. Gypsy and I never crossed the line but I thought she wait on me but this last one was giving up on her. Ole boy was always trying to be up under her. She told him we were friends but that didn’t mean shit to him. He saw the way I was looking at his girl.
“His ass don’t even know you forest baby. Do you fit in his body like me? Does he know what your favorite food is or how you like your head rubbed at night? Does he know you like it because it reminds you of the one year your mom was sober. Does he know when you bite your lip it’s because your thinking or when your mad you play with the ends of your close. Does he know you like to sing in the shower quietly because you don’t want nobody to hear you sing for real? Does he?” I asked my chest was tight and I was yelling all in her face. She pushed me away from her.
”You stopped fuckin with me when Korina told you to. I needed you and you weren’t there for me. He was though you got that girl pregnant but can look me in my eyes and say you love me? You always been twisted And I always defended you. But to cut me out of your life that shit hurt and I found something nice in a regular man. I’m having his baby.” She said and pulled her shirt up showing me a small baby bump. I put my hands on it. She didn’t know I didn’t care about that shit. I would be in that room with her while she had his baby. I still wanted her. To think of her cutting me out her life pained me.
”Just give me one more night.” I said but she shook her head.
”my man is on his way. He’s spending the night with me.”
”For what it’s worth ma. I do love you and one day I’m gonna marry you.” I said and jumped out her window. That night was the last night I felt whole. I watched her the whole night from my car. I watched her shadow bounce off the walls as she fucked him that night and I swear I wanted to drive my car threw her house.
