"I... I will touch the stone," he said in a firm voice, despite his anxiety and tension. His decision was based on his own understanding of what he was willing to lose. He had an outside life, full of experiences and people, but here in this moment, he felt something greater calling him.

He saw women of different ages, faces that carried indescribable strength, but he also saw fatigue in their eyes, as if they had witnessed secrets beyond human capacity.
Then his soul began to feel a new heaviness, as if it carried a part of those spirits he had seen. The stone was absorbing a part of his being, but it was also giving him knowledge he couldn't have had any other way. The experience was like diving into another world, where the boundaries between reality and spirit dissolved.
The light suddenly died out, and Jacob pulled his hand away from the stone, breathing heavily as if his soul had been tested deeply.
He looked at the first woman, and saw a new look in her eyes. A look of respect and appreciation. As for the second woman, she smiled slightly and said in a deep voice, "You are now a part of this place, Jacob. You have made your sacrifice, and you are connected to the stone, to the knowledge and the power it contains."
Jacob felt a change inside him, a new connection to the forest and to the tribe. But he also felt a weight on his heart, the weight of the knowledge he had gained, and the responsibility that had fallen on his shoulders.
"And now what?" Jacob asked, beginning to accept his new destiny.
"Now you will learn," the first woman replied. "You will learn our secrets, and you will become a guardian of the stone. But remember, this power is not yours alone. It is part of the tribe, our heritage. If you try to exploit it or expose it, you will pay dearly." Jacob did not know exactly what awaited him, but he knew that he had become part of a story bigger than himself. A story that would take him to depths he had never imagined, and perhaps secrets he would not be ready to understand even after many years.
