It was lunch, a few days later, that the two finally had the courage to announce their relationship to the whole group. As if we already didn’t know. Everyone noticed it by the way the acted around each other and their love for each other was so obvious in their eyes.

We were having a little celebration to commemorate their relationship. Drew was playing the guitar he created months ago. Steven was drumming next to him, while Rose gifted us with her sweet voice as she sung. Annie and Carlos were dancing together in the middle. Coleen joined Rose at singing while Jack and Jake started to clap to the beat and Lily was swaying to the beat between them. Griffin joined in the drumming. James stood up and gave Tash a hand as he led her to the middle and they started to dance together. I laughed at the scene in front of me. I never wanted this moment to stop. It was perfect.

I saw the way his lips curved into a smirk as my breathing turned heavy and my heart beat picked up. My lips felt dry so I ran my tongue across it. We had a stack of water in the camp, courtesy of Jack. But I was planning on catching some fish. It has been a long time since we had fish so, since I wasn’t doing anything why not just go fishing?

On my way, I’ve met with Jake who was flying around the woods to see if anything or anyone were around the camp. Thankfully, everything had been quiet. I exchanged a few words with him before he returned on flying and I made my way to the river.

I could hear the soft gushing of water. I carefully threaded the slippery rocks and knelt down on the river bank to wash my hands. When my hands were clean, I sat down on one of the big rocks to wait for some fish to pass by. Since, I was fast I didn’t need a fishing pole to catch some. I just needed fish to catch.
