Why does everyone fall head over heels for this kinda guy/girl/other? Well, let's be honest here. Who wouldn't? They've got confidence, humor that cracks your ribs or humor that's not funny it's funny, an attractive smile, and sometimes they're hot.
Most of the time they are labeled as a flirt because they are known to flirt with everyone. Let's get one thing straight. They only flirt with people they find attractive. So if you find yourself talking with someone who is openly labeled as a flirt it's because they find you interesting and worth their time (so to speak).
Maybe they just want to be friends. Definitely an option BUT on the OTHER hand what if they are interested in you? Doesn't matter if it's a guy or a girl they will find some way to make physical contact with you. It could be comparing hand sizes, playing footsie, playing with your hair, randomly scaring you, and all that other stuff. There is a 90% chance they are flirting.
So what's the catch to that? In their mind, they already made the first move. So they expect you to make the next move. A little bigger. These flirts need clear and open communication. Such as. "I'm not interested but we can be friends," "I'm not interested," "I'm interested," (please don't word it like that if you are interested).
Because if you are flirting with them and you say something like "Oh, you're so cute," That's not a clear sign that you like them. That is just a confidence booster for them, not an obvious sign that you've just stated your obvious ass feelings.
WARNING: In this world, we have a wide range of flirts. The one you definitely don't want is the manipulator. A very hard one to spot but once you see it you can't unsee it. The Manipulative-flirter will make the first move and expect you to continue making the next moves until they give you a clear sign to stop. All they see you as is another trophy in their wall of guys/girls/other. They could also be disguised as a very loving person who showers you with compliments and will drop you faster than a used tampon once they find a girl/guy/other that's more attractive.
This doesn't mean every flirter you meet is a manipulator but it's probably better to find someone who will stay loyal to you instead of someone who says they're loyal to you and three hundred other people.
