It was like any normal day. Sarah, my sister and I's best friend with her brother Micah , Kay's good friend came home to catch-up after not seeing each other the whole summer. They invited us to a small party, which I mean was no harm. But didn't want to go I had things to do.

I could have gone back, I could have told him to walk me, but no, I wanted to prove a point, that I was angry , that I could do it alone without my brother. So I made my way to the side walk and began my walk home. It was supposed to be short, but that felt like the longest walk of my life. I kept looking sideways, backwards, I was wondering why car's weren't passing by.
Looking at the time on my phone, 1:36am it read, no wonder there weren't cars. The street lights were on, but very dim I had to put on the flash light on my phone. Wrapping my left hand across my body, I walked .
It was dead silent. I could only hear my pounding heartbeat and the constant clicking of my heels again the hard paved stones.

Stopping abruptly I squinted to see what made a sound. Walking closer, a figure staggered out making me take quick steps back. Looking at who it was , I sighed happily in relief.
