Teàrlag reminds me of the druids, with the markings on her and the healing and plant knowledge. She gives me a wise yet grandmotherly vibe. 
As for Theodric, again this may be spoilery, but i think he is more gentle than his father because he feels remorse for what he is and is forced to do because of his curse. 
I am eager to see how this progresses!

Teárlag gave me such strange, creepy witch vibes for some reason. I'm not sure that's what you were going for, but I suppose it fits the whole "good with plantlore" thing. Maybe not the midwifery skill, however…

Theodric seems different than I thought he would be. I thought he'd be more callous like Hania remembers his father, but he seems like he might be a bit more earnest, in a way. I don't know how to explain myself exactly, sorry.
